Celebrating Important Days

Education Day

Celebrating the Spirit of Learning

This month brought some wonderful celebrations that lit up our school.

Education Day at school

November 11th Education Day

What a day of discovery! Our classrooms buzzed with excitement as students explored the endless possibilities that education brings.

From dramatic storytelling to mind-bending puzzles, our young learners discovered that knowledge truly is a superpower!

November 14th Childrens’ Day

Sweet treats and sweeter memories! As we shared stories about Chacha Nehru (Uncle Nehru), our students’ eyes sparkled brighter than the toffees they enjoyed.

Our kids learned about Jawaharlal Nehru, known affectionately as Chacha Nehru for his deep love for children, he believed that children were the real strength of a nation and the foundation of society. His birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day across India, and our school joined in this beautiful tradition with celebrations that captured the joy and wonder of childhood.

November 19 Rani Laxmi Bai Jayanti

Our students sat spellbound as they learned about the legendary Rani Laxmi Bai, the fierce Queen of Jhansi and one of India’s most iconic freedom fighters. Born in 1828, she became a symbol of resistance during India’s first war of independence in 1857. Known for her exceptional horseback riding and sword fighting skills, she led her army into battle against the British forces, defending her kingdom of Jhansi with extraordinary courage. Her bravery became legendary, particularly the accounts of how she managed the dual responsibilities of being both a queen and a warrior, even fighting with her young son tied to her back.

Learning through Play and Discovery

Play and discovery

Laughter and learning filled our classrooms this month as our creative teachers transformed everyday lessons into magical adventures!

Students sat at the edge of their seats during mind-bending concentration games, their faces scrunched in delightful focus as they tackled each challenge.

Our junior classes burst with creativity during identity picture activities, proudly showing off their artistic expressions of self-discovery.

Even grammar lessons became an exciting journey as Class 4 students turned their classroom into a language adventure playground, proving that even the most traditional subjects can spark joy when approached with imagination.

Every corner of our school echoed with the sounds of children discovering that learning truly is the greatest adventure of all!

Mothers and dreams

Mothers and Dreams:  A workshop of Self Reliance

The highlight of our month came on November 30th, when our school transformed into a space of powerful conversations and possibilities. During our Parent-Teacher Meeting, our principal led an inspiring workshop on self-reliance that touched hearts and opened minds.

In this safe and supportive environment, mothers shared their daily challenges and dreams. Together, we explored pathways to independence and discussed how mothers could contribute to their family’s prosperity while inspiring their children to dream bigger.

We hope it wasn’t just a workshop – it was the beginning of many new journeys!

Looking Ahead with Hope

Every day at Sansar Gyaan Pathshala, we witness small miracles: a child reading their first word, a shy student finding their voice, a mother discovering her potential.

These moments remind us why we do what we do.

As we move forward, we carry the energy of November with us – the enthusiasm of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the trust of our parent community.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to many more months of growth, discovery, and joy!
